Las frutas y verduras están constantemente amenazadas por microorganismos patógenos y alterantes desde el campo hasta el consumo final.

La presencia de bacterias y hongos en las cámaras de almacenamiento de frutas es inevitable, las hortalizas de cuarta gama tienen un mayor riesgo de contaminación por Salmonella y L. monocytogenes., que es el patógeno más relevante asociado con los brotes de hortalizas congeladas en los últimos años. 

Sea en almacenes hortofrutícolas, industrias de procesamiento o productos congelados, una adecuada limpieza y desinfección son fundamentales para obtener producto adecuados para su posterior comercialización.  FIP ofrece numerosos beneficios y ventajas en comparación con los procesos tradicionales.

Nuestro recorrido comienza con la desinfección de frutas y verduras al inicio de la campaña, en el control de la contaminación en el período poscosecha, pasando por la industria procesadora de productos de cuarta gama y terminando en la protección de la industria de productos congelados en prevención de contaminación y formación de biopelículas de L. monocytogenes.
